Are you someone who can't foster, but you still want to help out the dogs? We still need your help! Please apply to become a volunteer and indicate what you can help with and we will be in contact with you as volunteer opportunities arise!!

 

•  Sunday Adoption Fairs - Help families socialize with the pets we bring to PetSmart and Tractor Supply every week, answer questions about how the adoption process works, set up and clean up our booth, walk or transport dogs.

• Pet Care Assistance & Temporary Dog Sitting - Sometimes our foster parents need a pet sitter, a daytime visit for a dog that is troubled being alone, or an extra walk for a dog that just can't get enough exercise. Or when our fosters have multiple dogs at once, they really just appreciate an extra pair of hands and someone to give one-on one love to their dogs.

• Transporting Dogs- Sometimes we need help transporting dogs to and from vet, grooming or other appointments. Or to pick up a dog from the shelter and bring the dog to their foster home…You will just need to be 18 yrs or older and have a valid driver license and auto insurance to transport our rescued dogs..

• Pet Photography and Videography - A good picture and video can get an unnoticed pet adopted within days. Do you have a good camera, an artistic sense, and a car so that you can meet up with our fosters on your own time to take photos or video?

• Video editing-  A nicely edited video with music and information about our rescued dogs is one of the greatest tools in helping to get dogs adopted! Do you have the artistic sense and capabilities of making great dog videos for us? If so, we need you!!

• Online and Social Media Marketing- Are you someone who likes to keep up on Facebook or other online and social media sites? Then we need you! This is one of the biggest assets to our rescue as the more people we reach, the more volunteers, fosters and donations we can attain.

• Social Media Sales- Do you like selling and shopping?? We get donations from our community and sell them on several different Facebook, Letgo and other sites. We raise a good amount of money this way, and we need people to help get donations and sell them on these various sites.

• Fundraising and Event Planner - We have had several successful fundraisers that can be as big as a Gala, and as small as a Paint Night. We also hold several Garage Sales and participate in many community events. All have the potential to make a big difference. We need help hosting and organizing these fundraising and community events, along with help organizing and setting up online or social media fundraising campaigns.

• Administrative Help - Keeping track of the vet records, adoption applications, scheduling vet appointments, maintaining Petfinder, Adopt a Pet, and Rescue Me profiles, and other details of 50 to 100 pets at a time is tough! Are you organized or tech-savvy? We'd love your help!

• Design and Marketing Help - We'd love help designing and maintaining our website, editing photos, creating posters, and advertising material. If you have a knack for design or professional experience in any of this, we'd love to hear your ideas and get your help.

• Grant Writing Guru - Do you have experience writing grants? You are exactly who we are looking for. More funding helps us to provide vet care for dogs in more dire situations and to keep our rescue operations running.
